Thursday, while on our way home from a 'lunch and learn' at a local fire department, we stopped in a little thrift shop. The lady behind the counter said that she runs a ministry for homeless women and children. We made a purchase at the shop, and although it wasn't much, I donated some money to her cause. We talked for a bit about the changes in health insurance due to the Affordable Care Act, and how that will affect some of the people that this lady works with. I told her about a free help center where one can go to get signed up through the 'exchange' website. Hopefully, this information will help her to help others who are being affected by all of the changes.
